I posted this question in the descent 3 post, but am not sure it was/is appropriate. It sounds like freespace 2 for os x is in the works, but I don't know where to download a beta or how to do the install. Can someone here give me some info? I did do a search and found no inforamation TIA...

No beta has been released, so you can't download it yet (duh )


But there is a guy working on it though...patience.

cool. thanks for the info. I still have my original discs from my PC days...I knew I kept them for something! Now, if someone would port total annihilation for X my life would be complete!!
(well, maybe not complete, but more fun!!)

Sorta ressurecting this from the dead but...the beta is out!!! I'm at work so I can't post a link, but if you go to insidemacgames.com, checkout the forum under general...there is a link there to the beta download....

I'll be trying it tonight and if anyone is interested, I'll give a little review...

Total annihilation would rock! It was such a great game, and now that so many of my friends HAVE Macs we could put Starcraft on hold for a while.

sigh.. so many good games, so few programers to port them to OS X.
