Hello...
I was wondering if there is any type of command I can use to get out of the game screen and back onto the desktop without quitting the game?? I really need it... since I hate having to always quit the entire game and exit if someone messeges me on Yahoo...

Command-Tab switches apps. Only works in some games though. Many games will also revert to a "windowed mode" if you press command-M.

Be happy.

Are you in OS X right now?
I've got 10.2.4 installed on my iMac and I'm playing Alida and I've found a way where I can chat and play at the same time but I guess it depends on the game settings and your OS version or something...
Alida takes the whole screen but is sensitive to the cursor going up to the menu bar for saving games and playing with the settings for gameplay and stuff. So I just go to the top like if I wanted to save a game but instead I go for the OS X Apple icon to the left and I drop down the menu for the "Recent Items" selection and voilà I can go in and out of the chat window by selecting iChat and back into the game by clicking in the game window that stays open whenever I want!
Hope this helps!

Have you also tried the normal Command-H to hide an application? Worked for me on Q3 and I think UT as well.
