I got BG2, and am running it in OSX... but the readme says there is no way to do the full install on OSX yet... I'm wondering if anyone knows a way to do a workaround so I'm not switching disks all the time...

P.S., I tried making a Toast version of the disk to keep on the desktop, but I get an Error -50, "failed to mount" message...

Thanks!

Check out the ReadMe file again on Disc 1 for the "unsupported" install method under General Troubleshooting. Follow the instructions carefully. Note step 5. That's very important.

The exact same instructions are also listed at MacPlay's support site.

Disc Copy can also be used to mount Toast images (there seem to be many reports of the -50 errors).

Do a "Get Info" and change the "Open With" preference to Disc Copy.
