Trying to play this game, but having some problems. . .

When I start the game it pops up a dialogue that says: "Finding the network devices on this host..."

It just sits there and doesn't ever do anything else. the music plays but that is it.

I have d/l the patch and that did't help.

Anybody else have this happen to them?

Might as well have just typed "+1".

Anyway, you might want to try deleting the game's preference files. Also, make sure you're not playing a multiplayer game as a single player -- would explain the game looking for network stuff (or does IWD not have multiplayer?).

Maybe I'll come up with something more clever later... I don't have much IWD experience.
