these games came with my ibook 700 and they will both load but i cannot use my keyboard for any inputs. i have gone into the game preferences and *supposedly* they are active, but i get no response while the game is playing....ive tried everything i can think of. what am i doing wrong?

Is it something like a caps lock (which pauses Ambrosia games), or a num lock on? Also, is it the iBook keyboard, or an external one?

i've tried it with the keyboard caps lock on and off. i'm using the ibook's keyboard. i can start the game by clicking te start "buton" but after that the game just plays and i cannot move my "ship" or "robot" at all. so i know it isnt paused. and i cannot quit or stop the game while it is in progress. i have to wait until i am "killed" and then once i get back to the start screen, i can use the mouse button to navigate and end the game....

I've noticed this, but don't know the reason.

If you log out and then log in again, you should be able to start the game with keyboard access restored.

You could also restart the computer, but I don't think you have to go that far.
