I'm using my iBook with airport to connect to the internet through my university wireless network. Unfortunately I am unable to join / host games in GameRanger and apparently it is because I am behind a router. Instructions call for reconfiguring the router to send data from certain games to my local IP address. However how can I do this when I am using a university wireless network? Is it even possible?

Note that I can play other network games, such as UT 3 and Thinktanks demo, but I cannot play in Game Ranger. I remember having a similar problem when I first tried to play those Freeverse for .mac members but after reading something and getting some advice (obviously I don't remember) it was resolved. Thanks!

BTW UT 3 Demo plays fine on my iBook with all settings low and 800x resolution as long as no one else is in my vicinity. Otherwise it is unplayable. I should have waited 3 more months for the 800 mhz, 32 meg iBook.
