Trouble connecting to bnet with brood war OS X

I just installed brood war with OS X today, and I can't connect to battle net. When I try to connect, it says that bnet can not identify my version. Is this a common problem? Are there any ways to fix it? Is a patch coming soon to fix it?

Download and install the latest patch from blizzard.

Thank you, that fixed the problem. I previously just patched it with one of the "OS X" patches on blizzard's servers. Maybe I patched it with 1.09 or something. Again, thanks.
