You don't find it too slow? I've tried it with VPC 5.04 running W 98 and it was too slow to have the thrill. (I have a G4 DP 500 radeon).

I haven't tried it under VPC but I might have to buy it for PC if I see it in a store this week. After getting the demo, I successfully held on until the 26th but any longer might be impossible.

The annoying thing is that some of the posts on the Ambrosia site suggest that the delay is through the conversion into a shareware application. I don't particularly care about the shareware cut down version I want the full one!!!

It will be a shareware version, that's how they operate. The game is essentially unchanged from the PC version, it just comes as a .sit file as opposed to getting a boxed version. You also get to play on their dime for 30 days.

It is kind of like ev-nova except
there are no guns and pirates boarding
your ships (or you boarding theirs ),

I wouldn't say it is booring. It is
one of those games that you have to give
your self a good 2 hrs every time u play
it

No, it's not a shoot-em-up, guns blazing FPS nor a build-and-blitz multiplaery game so in that sense, it *might* be boring.

However, those looking for a thinking man's game, this is definitely the ticket.

Now, if I could only figure out why my "ESC" key doesn't want to flip me out of the game when the boss is around...

Cheers.
