Hey. I've installed Quake III and the Urban Terror mod on my new 1Ghz Tibook. I set the custom resolution to 1280x854, and all seems well, except that I see horizontal tearing on the screen when I move around. How can I limit the fps and what should I set it to for a powerbook? I'm guessing this is what the problem is, I have no idea.

Also: How can I force anti-aliasing to be turned on, I think my Radeon 9000 mobility can handle it and still push a decent frame rate.

Pull down the console (` key) and you can set the max FPS with /com_maxfps.

Once you type the com_maxfps once it will stay like that forever. But, Quake 3 does not support anti-aliasing, so you can not do that. If for some weird reason the com_maxfps changes next time you boot Q3 then type "/seta com_maxfps #". Fairly Simple.
