Hi all.

I just installed a superdrive on my G4/533, and everything's been fine until tonight, when, upon killing Andariel and trying to go to Act II of Diablo II, I get a kernel panic that clearly indicates that my IOdvd something or other is the problem.

Has anyone experienced this? Is there a fix?

Cheers
Scott

You can run D2 with a disk image so try that method to avoid using the DVD drive.

I used to have similar problems too. Not just with Diablo II. Look in your "Energer Saver" system preferences, uncheck the option that says "Put harddrive to sleep when possible".

I think the pioneer A05 drives not from apple have a firmware problem with drive the sleep or something.
