in the game demo (not Tiger himself). It seems to be random whether putting works probperly or not. One time I'll putt and the ball goes 6 inches, the next putt, same swing, and it works perfectly. All swings other than putting work perfectly. Anyone else have this problem?

My setup:

iBook, 700mhz, OSX 10.2.6
384mb RAM

WizOSX  (op)

I think I solved the problem. I tried a different mouse and putting is fine. The first mouse was working through a USB hub. I don't know if that matters. The second mouse which works is not optical. Question, however, is still why the mouse would only screw up putting and not other shots?!?

Sometimes the other clubs screw up for me- I gues you have been lucky! I read somewhere (in the read me maybe, I cant remember though) that the best mouse to use is a non- optical, I guess opticals are too picky. BTW, the problem I had with other clubs is they take the full shot on only the back movement of the mouse. This is in the demo too.

Optical mice occassionally (sp?) lose track of where they are, and this is a big problem in Tiger Woods. In normal use, you don't even notice that they lose their place because they correct it so quickly, but in this game if it happens during a swing, the swing is ruined. The better optical mouse you have, the less it happens, but a mouseball will never have this problem. Dirt, on the other hand..
