I'm damn excited that it's coming to Mac. ^_^ I love all the "Age Of ___" games! The hours I've wasted on Age Of Empires is incredible....

There would have been a news article if the game were shipping.

at last ! my pc is been dead for a while now, cant wait for this to come out !
i just hope alot of the pc games would come out for mac and on the same time aswell now that would rock.. dont see how hard it is to have both versions out at the same time on the same CD/DVD heck DVD's are cheap now so why not! plus MS has the enought money to do so anyways!

It's really not that good, guys
The PC version ran like butter though, and looked very good while doing so.

|
Be happy.

Any demo for this game ? It came out yesterday, and I heard there was probably going to be a demo.

How do you know this? Macsoft's page still says October... (not that that means a damn thing.)

Er, so? It ships at the beginning of November rather than the end of October. Boo hoo. It's not like this was unexpected. The only time you can ever trust a release date is when the publisher gives a specific date. Even then, something unexpected may come up.
One thing to note. Retailers like Amazon are required by law to post a release date for items they're going to sell. If a publisher hasn't given a release date to them, they usually make it up. So I wouldn't rely too much on Amazon release dates. Hell, they use to have a bunch of games up for sale that Macs there were never announced and have never shown up.

I think I'll also pick myself up a copy when it is released to the stores. It looks really fun.

Oh well, so it's delayed. I'm not exactly shocked or anything. It's not like this is the first time some game has been delayed for whatever reason.
At least now, they will have no excuse for not having time or anything like that to provide a demo.
We'll see.

I wonder if they'll include the expansion pack also, since it's being delayed.
That would be a smart move, sort of similiar to what happened when AOK came out for mac.
The PC version of AOM can be had for $29.95
At $49.95 for the mac version, at least give mac people the extra civ & expansion pack.
