So how is it? Im downloading the demo now, but only getting 25k/sec.

Worth buying?

I am a little biased, as I tested it.

But I like it a lot and it was fun to test. The demo is just one of the missions but it should give you a good taste of the game as the maps are quite large. Oh and the full version has multiplayer.

Several things I should bring up:

Non-Mac related

The GUI is really, really bad. Very poorly designed
Lousy tutorials. Lack of interactive to get you started
Terrible Camera Control

Mac related

Doesn't run well on Radeon 8500 64MB even with all setting low
Some GUI glitches such as loading text status overlaying each other

At this stage, I'm definitely not going to buy the game even though it may be a good game. To begin with, I'm not expecting much from Feral Interactive because almost all of the games they ported perform like **** (anyone remember Sim Theme Park?)

Adam, about the performance issues could you please send me a private message with your specs so I can investigate, as it runs fine on medium/high settings on a GeForce 4MX on my powerbook. Also the resolution you are trying to play at will be usefull.

About Theme Park there was a patch out which solved the performance issues and this patch has been out for a year now.

If you have any other issues just send them along with your specs and I will pass them on.

In the demo, you need to get 500 food to that little community, but my peasants collect the food and it goes nowhere. Then I built a village and now it goes there, but doesn't get counted towards my overall resources! What am I doing wrong?

I like Feral, they did well with porting Champ Manager almost at the same time as the PC version, get Aspyr to do that...

You need to cart the food from the village to the manor or warehouse. It will then count towards your overall resources.

We will be posting a mini FAQ with a full set of keyboard commands and various other info.

You can get this by going to the Feral website later today.
