my bud and I had it networked between himself and I (mac and pc) \

worked ourselves up to the 30's and things started disapearing on login, the first time it did not bother me, but when it started happening damn near everytime, the same pieces (armor/necklace/belt/boots) I just give up, hard to replace those nice items every day (and expensive as well) when every rune I found started vanishing, that was the last straw lol (found 4 new ones in one sitting which i did not have before, then they were gone *cry*)

I was running on the pc (beta 2) and on the mac(beta 2) I did just discover that beta 3 for the mac is out

anyone else have this problem or know the fix to it?

I guess thats what I get for playing beta

if you are playing single player I don't think this is a problem

anyone have any insight on when the final is due?

Welcome to the wonderful world of beta testing. If you download the public beta, you should also check the beta site fairly frequently to keep up to date with what's going on. They released a public beta to get help beta testing it, not so we can just play the 1.10 patch before release.
One thing to keep in mind is to not become attached to any characters or items associated with the 1.10 beta. The 1.10 beta chars and items will not be compatible with the 1.10 final release. Your 1.09 characters should be fine assuming you followed the beta installation instuctions. It's always a good idea to backup any saved info for your various games anyway.
