ditto here. No noticed improvements. I was mostly hoping for an improvement to the day/night cycle. Most buildings glow white at night but not the way you would expect. The whole building looks highlighted as opposed to just having glowing lights in windows.

What was fixed in the patch is exactly what was mentioned in the read me. We do hope to fix the glowing building problems in a future patch. There's no ETA for that.

Also, be aware that using the day/night cycle is very slow as it has to redraw the entire city and terrain every frame.

Oops. Not "every frame", but definitely more frequently then when that feature off.

Hi i5, nice to see you are still searching boards to improve products - very encouraging!

Sadly, I have gotten used to slow performance in Sim City games - mostly my own fault for usually having a computer that barely meets the minimum requirements at the time of its release! EA and translators cannot be held at fault for that.

But please let us know when that light patch is available!!!

Works beautifully in widescreen on a 17-inch Powerbook now

Now if only the Powerbook had dual G5 hiding in there.....

Was anybody able to do this?
