i'm having problems with defrosting gamestates and
loading saved games in VBA (i have the latest
version).

when i try to either load a saved game or defrost, i
get the following error:

unsuppored visualboyadvance saved game version 0

both the freeze states and the .sav files are still
there. it just won't load, and they've worked fine
for 2 weeks.

the only thing that happened was i accidentally filled
up my hard drive while ripping some CDs, and as a
result my prefs didn't save for a lot of programs and
i had to enter them in again (for iChat, Mail, etc)

please help!

thanks!

I'm using 1.6a and occasionally it'll tell me it can't do something with the save states. Quitting and reopening fixes it.

Hope this gets fixed because BoycottAdvance is now totally unusable in X and no longer runs in 9.

Those cows won't know what hit 'em. They won't know what hit them even after it hits them, because they're cows.

Have you tried removing all of the vba preferences and letting them regenerate themselves?

If worse comes to worse, remove all associated vba files from you disk (including prefs and what-not) and reinstall.

I bet it's a corrupted prefs problem, though.

After deleting the plist and everything, did you try a new savefile or your old one?

Corrupted prefs might have given you a corrupted savefile.
