Haha - I got you good!!
When will there be a counter-strike for MAC? The most popular online game ever is surely worth a port. Not to mention Counter-strike: Condition Zero is coming out soon and then Half-life 2 will probably have a counter-strike mod.
i want my counter-strike, so i can kiss my pc goodbye forever!
Edit: also, how many fps would the fastest dual g5 with a radeon 9800 pro be able to run counter-strike on Virtual PC 5?

VPC 5 sucks, because there are no gpu hardware acceleration. The best way to run Windows games on mac is to get a Mac OS 9 compatible dual 1,4GHz G4, with VP3 and then Voodoo 5.

You got me GOOD!
I totally was ready to believe this thread would be useful, especially after seeing your capitalization of Mac.
Rock on!

Unfortunately not. VPC does not run on G5s the same way it doesn't run on 604s.

Get the TacticalOps mod for Unreal Tournament. It's basically the same thing, just don't expect half the world to be playing it with you.

I would say True Combat for Quake III. I never liked Unreal Tournament modding. I mean, I like UT WAY over Quake III, but modding UT is really dirty. TacticalOps is even more dirty, hack the PC thinggy. I remember doing it once, great game, not that (and it requires little of you HW), but modding it takes to much time, and it is easy to get bugs this way.
For now, True Combat !!

Those Quake 3 mods are real nice, but the option of buying **** like you do in Counter Strike are not there.

a good UT mod for all you classic bungie players is Marathon:resurrection, but only the multiplayer, or practice.
