Even though the Mac version of Halo isn't shipping until Dec 3rd, I made this nice Mac OS X icon for everyone to use as they see fit.

I wasn't sure if it belonged here or in the GUI Customization forums, but I chose here as it would probably hit the right audience. Mod away, if you want ;-)

The Windows XP icon is completely untested...

Looks great! Very high quality.

It probably won't matter but the guidelines for App and Game icon are different because Game have nothing to do with document.

BTW, when downloaded the file, the icon doesn't show up, at least not in Panther.

p.s. damn you for having a copy of Halo ahead of time

Try this... the icon is on a folder inside a sparseimage and then zipped! Take that! heheh

And no, I don't have Halo for Mac. I wish I did.

I might do some other ones like this for other games. Since Indy and Splinter Cell are coming to the Mac soo, I might make ones for them, too...

I'll look around for some RtCW images I can get to look right on the "tilt" like the Halo warthog has...like it's coming at your or something..

hey, take a look at the lower left part of the shadow on the upper document in your recent icons, the shadow is a bit odd.

Ah! My mistake...I forgot to clean that up... It used to be hidden under a Warthog, lol. Got a "clean" app icon (with no brush or ruler clutter on it)?

How about an icon for the old MacWorms. I still play it a lot in Classic but it has a generic app icon.
