Just received my copy of RTCW. When I try to install it all I get is a beach ball turning for "hours"; so I just pulled the Wolfenstein Folder on my desktop and started the game from there.
It won`t start in SP though; I can only start MP and change to SP from there.

Anyone has an idea what`s going on??

I don`t have my mouse yet and the game won`t accept my trackpad.

And yes-it`s an original CD.

Specs: PB17 Rev. A with 1GB and 10.2.6

Well that's weird that it won't accept your trackpad, but clicking SP in the MP app just boots the SP app, so that doesn't make sense either. Anyway, try downloading the latest patch for the game from http://macgamefiles.com

well about the install issue, what do you mean by "hours"? literally hours or just a long time, because the installation looks like it's going nowhere and it spins the cursor around and around, and then all of a sudden 30 minutes later it finishes all at once. It even has a window on the top of the screen that says that the status bar doesn't accurately show how far the installation is.

IŽve downloaded the patch-will try it later.

By hours I mean that nothing except the beach ball is happening. Usually that`s a sign (with other apps) that soemthing`s gone wrong and that you have to force quit.
But if you say that could be the normal way IŽll give it some more time to install.

Will post later if it helped.

It worked-just took a little longer than expected. Still won`t accept the trackpad-but my brand new Logitech MX 700 has shipped today!
Watch out next week for one mean killing machine!!

when you get it working, drop by the Mac addict server.

drop down the console by hitting the tilde (~) key.

then type /connect 198.247.231.43:27960
