Thanks to those who tried to help, but after a clean install of Panther on my G5 (1.5 gb of RAM) I still cannot get UT23k to run.

-I've used the new installer
- I've deleted everything vaguely related to UT23K on my machine and re-installed (twice)
-I've checked the permissions

The install works fine but when I try to open the app, the icon in my dock jumps up and down a few times and then disappears. It's recognizing the play cd, just doesn't want to open.

Can I be the only one this is happening to? Another forum suggested it may be some weird copy-protection scheme, but MacSoft is not answering my tech support e-mails so I'm stranded I guess.

It was running fine on 10.2.8
