i know that the popular driving game Driver for mac is running under os 9, but wonder if there is any patch or something like that that make the game playable at os X??

no. i've contacted the developer, and you can concider it dead. if you have a newer machine, you cannot boot OS 9 and play it. if you love this game, you'll have to buy a PC or boot into OS9
