Does anyone know how to get 1152x870 to work/stcik without crashing as a screen res?
When I choose it in game the game reinitializes it's rendering engine (I guess) as it does when you change to any resolution in game, the screen flashes white then comes back to the main menu with the new Screen Res selected;
Except when I change to 1152x870, because the screen just gets stuck on white, and I have to force quit the game.
I'm sure this screen res used to work, and I've deleted my ini. a number of times to try and rectify the problem, as well as editing it manually to 1152x870 (doesn't work, when I get to the in game menu, the res is 1280x1024) and I've tried adding a minimum refresh rate value, which seems to have no effect, is there something else I need to change instead, or as well?

To my knowledge, you can't use that res. unfortunately. Most games will allow custom res.'s easily, escp. Quake III-based games, however SoF II is based on the GhouL 2 engine, and it's not as friendly. I can't custom res. it to play at 1920x1200 to play on my Cinema Display either.

Umm, the strange thing is 1152x870 is an available screen res (in game), and, as I said I've used it at this screen res in the past.
I really want to play at this res as it's the optimal combination of visual detail and speed on my system.

I've found the Max and Min commands in the .cfg (therr actaully was NO value!) and entered the respective ones for my monitor.
No change.

Hi, I've just realised something, the in game resolution I'm selecting is not 1152x870 (which my, and just about any CRT monitor that does 1280x1024 or above can do and the res I wanted/thought I was selecting) but 1152x864, which I believe is there so people with 15" PowerBooks can play the game at their native screen res (1152x864 obviously) my or any other CRT that does 1280x1024 or above that I've ever come across does NOT support this res, hence the problem.

Thanx 4 ur help Assasyn, Rod.

1152x864 is actually the true 4:3 resolution. 1152x870 is some screwed up resolution that someone decided to start using just to annoy and confuse people (like 1280x1024 is. We should be using 1280x960...)

1152x768 was the wide screen ratio of the original PB G4s. 1280x854 is the current resolution.
