Any idea what command will limit the screen refresh rate in AvP 2? Whenever I choose any other resolution besides 640x480 It seems to try running at 120Hz or something. My monitor can't handle it and the screen goes black.

This happens at 1600x1200, 1280x1024, 1024x768, etc... The monitor is capable of 1600x1200 at 75Hz which most programs use as the default refresh rate.

If I could specify to never try any rate higher than 75 it would solve the issue. I've checked through the few ini files I could find, and I did find the resolution settings, but not the refresh rates.

I'm really tired of playing at 640x480 so any help would be appreciated.

i had this issue to, i junked the terminal command after i got my new display, but email the omni group and they will send u the termanl command to set the max refresh rate, its really easy once u have the code to copy paste into terminal. they where really kool in helping me, to bad the game still runs like ****.
