How to run Europa Universalis II without CD?

I need detailed instructions on how to run EU II without the CD. I've tried making the blank disk image and calling it numerous things, such as EUII, EU2, EU 2, EU II, etc. Nothing. It still asks for the CD.

I was able to easily fool Civ III using a disk image but not Europa Universalis II. Hmm... was there a full install option for EU II? Maybe that was my mistake.
