I have a full installation of TotSC (with BG1) on my machine, I can get it to run nicely in Classic (not OS 9), except for one problem: sound (music) is choppy.

I have enough memory on my system, enough memory allocated to the application, etc. When I say choppy, I mean the music stops for a millisecond or so, for every half a second interval. It's a 1GHz machine, so speed shouldn't be an issue, and I've heard of other people who said they got it running under Classic. Gameplay isn't choppy at all. In fact, characters seem to move too fast.

Also, in windowed mode the graphics never updates on screen, I have to hide the screena and redisplay it to make it update--thus unplayable.

Unfortunately my machine (17" pb) cannot boot into OS 9.

Any potential solutions?

Thanks,

-F
