I recently upgraded to Panther and in doing so forgot to back up my old Diablo files. Gone are my lvl 65 Amamzon, lvl 72 Barb etc. I took this opportunity to start over again and try playing in OSX.

When I launched Diablo for the first time the only video mode available was Software and OpenGL, no RAVE. Is OpenGL the best mode for my system?

How do I see what frames per second I am getting? I seemed to remember that I could type in "fps" before.

How come my mouse settings are grayed out in OSX?

My system is a 867/G4 tower with Nvidia GeForce2 MX 32MB.

Thanks

RAVE is dead. There is no native RAVE support for OS X.

I'd recommend using software mode. It will give you more consistent framerates during gameplay. OpenGL performance fluxuates a lot.

/fps will get your fps showing. That's how the command should have worked from the beginning. If you want to use the player command, you need to use /player.

Mouse controls are based on the system settings.
