Verdana Font error when launching MOH:AA

I'm on a powerbook g4 running 10.3.1, and everytime I try to launch Medal of honor: allied assault, it brings up an error window saying. Font error: couldn't load font verdana, then it quits. Verdana is installed, so I basically have no idea what's going on, Thanks in advance for your help

It's possible your font is corrupted. Try reinstalling the font.

(edit) you could also try repairing permissions.

When you installed Panther, did you install Internet Explorer?

If your like me and did not want that foul outdated piece of crap to touch your OS X system then thats a No. Unfortunately My most beloved font is installed with IE since it just so happens that it is an MS font ::sniff:: That font is Verdana. So in order to get Verdana you need to intall IE, or use Pacifist to rape it for its Fonts.

BTW: IMO opinion requiring a non system font for a game is retarded.
