Hi folks,

I have just bought NOLF2 and I am having a few problems. First the sound is out-of-sync although I see this is a recognised issue on the MAcplay website.

Second is that the in-game text is just coming out as small boxes. Anyone else had this and is there a fix?

Thanks

Al

The fix for the audio is to downgrade to quicktime 6.3 in jaguar. The fix for the video is to try lowering your video refresh rate to 60 or 70hz from the displays system preference.

i wonder why they shipped this game too; it's a mess.

You can fix this by changing the resolution you're running the game at. I had the same problem, and when I contacted MacPlay they said the problem was that a screen font the game uses wasn't installed. I switched to another resolution and the game was able to find the font no problem.

As to why they shipped the game, my guess is they didn't forsee the problems with Quicktime 6.4. I sure was suckered. It's especially annoying because I've generally found MacPlay games to be pretty good.

What about the refresh rate issue? Surely they should have known about that.

I hope they fix this. I'm really enjoying the first NOLF game was was thinking of buying the sequel. If it's this bad though, maybe I will wait.
