I recently got stronghold as a gift and wanted to play it via gameranger. I need to use v1.2 to do so, so I downloaded the updater. When I run the updater, it sez preparing to update for a while then the little dialog goes away and the drive churns pauses, churns pauses forever. I went to VT to see what others said about the update and the last 2 posts say the exact same thing. Anyone have this problem and find a solution? Is there a way to dig inside the updater and get the stuff I need out of it and install manually? It appears that the updater isnt a regular bundle, so i cant show package contents.
