Anyone know of a good cheap, free or one time payment online rpg?

I know Planeshift will come (sooner or later) but I'm looking for something else. Even its its P2P its got to be affordable.

I was going to say Planeshift...

One that I played a while was rune scape.

It is a free java game and I payed $5 paypal for a while to get the advanced quest and stuff but later became tired of it because EQ came out.
