I got a hand-me-down powermac G3 450 B&W. Its has the 16mb ATI card as well as a 64MB Voodoo5 card. Is there any way to run Warcraft 3 through the voodoo5? i tried Os 9.1 or 9.2 and it didnt work. someone said you need the OpenGL 1.2 (not 1.2.4) extensions. But os9.1 or 2 wont run the OpenGL 1.2 extension, so i installed Os 8.6, but Warcraft 2 wont run on 8.6, it needs Os9. Should i bother looking for an Os9 install disc or just give up and use the 16 MB ATI card? Is WC3(frozen throne) better in os9 or 10.3 with this set up?

Thanks
-Dave

WC3 is ALWAYS better in OS 9. And I'd definitely reccommend trying to get that Voodoo5 to work -- the 16MB ATi card does not run WC3 well at all (trust me on that).
Be happy.

You can switch the OpenGL extensions manually, all you need is Tomeviewer and the correct OpenGL installation file. Extract all OpenGL extensions from the installation pack and put them in your extensions folder. De-activate the current ones first if you want to keep them around.
