Anyone have any experience running Descent 3 on a Summer 2001 500 MHz iMac? It's got 256 MB RAM. The minimum system requirements are 233 MHz and 32 MB I think. I just want to know if it would play well.
Thanks.

I used to play it on my G3 Yosemite @ 350mhz with 512mb of ram, and it ran fine.
Had to stop though - that game gave me motion sickness.

we have it running on a B&W G3 upgraded to G4 550 and it runs fine.
I'm with the motion sickness thing tho too. I have to limit play to about 20 minutes then go recover. I was laughing to see someone else with the same problem.

Well, I guess if it's getting you guys motion sick, the performance can't be too bad. Maybe I'll pick it up, and if it doesn't run well I'll keep it for myself!
