Just wondering if there is any sort of Netflix type of company for renting Mac games. Thanks.

Not sure about Mac games, but there is one for renting console games. Forget the name now, but I saw it on TechTV last week.

If there was, I'd doubt it would do good business due to the limited quantities of games.

I do not know of any service that rents out computer games. Same reason you can not return software they assume you just burned it.

GameFly

Never used it myself, but a friend at work swears by it.

It would only take one to make it worth it! New games cost $40-50 and are beaten in less than a month. Then you can move on to the next game! I prefer to own the games, though.

About the Mac game renting: it would never work because of piracy.

yeah but you can rent them for $1-$4 for 3-5 days from most rental stores.

The new games here are usually a bit more than that, but that seems about right. However, with a system like Netflix you don't have to worry about due dates or renewing. Just keep the game till you don't want it anymore.

p.s. I don't use the system, just see the advantages.
