Everytime that I try to do multiplayer in the Death Island map I get an unexpected quit. This happens on both of my Macs. Any ideas?

It runs fine here. Are you serving or joining? It's my favorite map so far.

That's odd to have the same problem on both Macs. It could be a bad CD maybe. That's all I can think of unless you're running some kind of hardware or software (mouse driver etc.) on both.

I tried but it wouldn't let me put it in the folder (says it's read only). It's a pretty hefty 18Mb though.

Does your dual 1.8 have a GeForce FX 5200 in it? If so, is Pixel Shader support on? I've heard that with OS X 10.3.2 Halo will let you enable PS support in Halo, however, people have reported that the app crashes when trying to load certain maps in single player, like the second map ("Halo"). Switching to Vertex Shaders only mode allowed many of the others to continue on. Since the map you are trying to load is an outdoor map similar to "Halo" then it might have the same issue with the Pixel Shaders so try and play it with Vertex Only support. I haven't heard of any issues with the PowerBook 1.25s but it might be worth a try to disable PS there as well.

If it's not an issue with the Pixel Shaders then I can only think of it as being an issue with a corrupt install.
