I'm gonna pick up a copy of Halo at my local software shop tomorrow.

What's the best settings/tweaks for maximum performance for my system for the game Halo?

Set the resolution to whatever you want. I have a nice MDD and it runs very smoothly for me. Set textures to high, and if it chugs a little, drop it down to medium (you should be fine there). I have a GeForce 4 Ti, and I didn't enable anti aliasing and shading isn't available for me to use. Overall, it looks way better on my computer than it does on the Xbox, plus I'm using a Cinema HD Display so I need a high resolution.

Wait until you get to play multiplayer. You'll be patting yourself on the back for years. Just create a custom gametype to enable all vehicles (2 each) and play on Blood Gulch. Sweet!
