PC players are almost all using 1.0.3 while the Mac version is on 1.0.2. The patch to bring the Mac version up to 1.0.3 will be out soon hopefully.

The PC users that you do see listed in the in game browser are probably hacked 1.02 copies since the 1.03 version is a lot better. I've played it on the PC, it fixes a lot but not all of the vehicle warping. The pistol is also more useable where you don't have to guess with every shot the amount of lead to hit the target.

man I am such a moron, I bought Halo for PC as soon as it came out...... now I have to buy it again for Mac cause I hate using my PC.

Do what I did - I bought an X-Box ! 
OK - so shoot me. But Halo played like an absolute dog on both my Macs, so I bought an X Box at a near-giveaway price, and Halo is awesome. Awesome.
Plus, I"ll be playing Halo 2 this spring....

We've got an XBOX, but you can't play Halo online, That's why I bought it for my Mac
I use a Mac, and my brother who lives 2 hours away uses a PC and we had wanted to play online, but we can't hook up.

Well, wait for Halo 2 which will have X Box LIVE support, and tell your brother to buy one too ! Just been reading the Bungie site, and I'm getting really hyped about Halo 2.
