hi guys, this christmas i got a present of Soldier of Fortune 2 from a friend. Unfortunately i was given the pc version, and while i have a pc that will run it i wanted it for my mac since i would like the odd game to play while out and about in the field. My problem is that he didn't give me a receipt, obviously because its a present.
Now i know the store he got it in and they don't do mac games so i have to keep it.
What i would like to know is whether its possible to extract the cab files from the pc cd's andthen get my hands on the exe equiv for mac and run it that way. The game is fully legit, and runs fine on pc just I had wanted it for laptop and i doubt it will run well under virtua pc
Has anyone gotten any pc games to run under os x by extracting them tto folder and then getting mac startup for game??? Any instructions??
