Using GameCube controller w/ iMac G4

Soooo, i was looking to find out whether i could hook up a gamecube controller to my iMac G4 800. Any way to convert it to USB? Any ideas?

So i could hook up a N64 controller, but can i program it to play games like UT & Halo? I would really like the GameCube controller, though. The N64 controller kinda...SUCKED.

Oh...my bad...GameCube controller. Yeah, the Adaptoid is only for N64 controllers...and yes you can program it to play games like UT and Halo with USB Overdrive and other such programs.

Does it work on Mac? I have no idea...I haven't heard of anyone try it. I'm assuming some kind of driver would need to be written if generic drivers can't handle it.
