I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this. There's only one word to describe this: AWESOME! No more fiddling around with emulators and enduring floppy-like load times.

Dungeon Master

Chaos Strikes Back

So awesome...

Oh boy. Wanna go even farther back in time, eh? Get yourself a copy of Zork and enjoy.

It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue.

Chaos Strikes Back link just gave me a crap load of text gobbledy gook, tho.

Now we need Dungeon Master 2 from the Sega CD. It had this one massively exasperating moment in it...

You can just get the Mac version of Dungeon Master 2 and play it in Classic. It is downloadable of teh intarweb.

The Chaos Strikes Back link leads to a .rar that is not recognized by the MIME system. Just control-click on the link and choose 'save target as..'

i have Dungeon Master 2 on CD!

I think it was the first or the second game I bought (was Myst first?)

tho I never knew how to play it (I could not understand english at the time), it was a lot of fun.

Especially that thief mother****er that would pop out of nowhere and scream MOING MOING and steal ur stuff. Ahh. And that ninja bouncer in the store.. I always wondered: IS HE BEATABLE?!

It's the Giggler! Just give him FUL IR hell

Dungeon Master is one of the greatest games out of the 16-Bit era. They even put in random disc access to keep you on your toes! It worked pretty well for me: I was scared shitless every time the green LED went on and the floppy loaded something. Ahh, to be 11 again....

Now I'm running through the dungeons with my 2-man party (Hisssa & Wuuf) and camping at monster generators. They're both LO Master wizards and Expert priests, fighters and ninjas in level 7 already. All those levelling-up games like Diablo must've spoiled me.

Just right click on the link and 'Download linked file as...'. It seems Safari needs some help with a .rar file.
