ATI released a new ATI Control Panel with 3D Overrides for all retail Radeons.
http://www.ati.com/support/drivers/m...-displays.html

These aren't new drivers, just the Displays utility.

So this is what the ATI dude was sending out for beta-testing right? This is great...my 8500 now has a bit more purpose.

We!? Well it took me too long to figure it out. I shoulda guessed the mighty a2daj was an ATI employee...who else would have the time to test out all these games without it being partially related to work.

Not an employee. A beta tester (via the beta testing call). ATI has no offices that I'm aware of in the state of Washington. I'm a Disney employee, or as I like to put it, a former ESPN employee.

Yes, I did, but the fact that it works for all retail Radeons does not automatically mean that it will not work for OEM cards.
Be happy.

If it's not specified, it's safe to assume the negative case is true.
