I recently got a ViewSonic VB50HRTV TV tuner, which allows you to view TV and play console games on a computer monitor. XBox games look great played through it on a 21" StudioDisplay on my old B&W g3.

I wish I had a PC gamer friend that I could invite over to see Halo being "played" on a 300Mhz G3 with 256MB ram and a Rage128 card.... With the VB50HRTV and Xbox cleverly hidden away that is...

You mean, he will vomit on your screen,
as he will be asking you...

Why is the resolution so low, it looks worse than 640 x 480.

Why are the edges all fuzzy, doesn't you card support anti-aliasing?

Why are the colors all off?

You are so dumb.
You have like a billion pixels on you 21" inchers, so the game will look bloated.

It is not a card, it is a stand-alone TV tuner that has an s-video input and RGB in and out. it supports 1024x768. You attach it between the monitor and the CPU. TV and console games Look really good on a big CRT. Push a button to select between CATV, the computer (your regular resolution is passed through) and whatever game machine or DVD etc. you have attached.

I don't think there is any way to digitally capture the signal.
