I am getting a wierd problem on my brand new PB.

In NWN, I sometimes get to a state where the mouse still works, the view will rotate but there is nothing else you can do. Cliking or hitting a key will no do anything.

It could be heat related.

Any other experiences out there?

PS: I found some one with the same problem on Bioware's forum but no solution there...

No problems here. Did never ever have a freeze! Did you upgrade to the latest version 1.62? Do you play with your CD physically in the drive or did you make a DMG copy that you mount? I use a copy (DiskUtility will help) that I mount, because the ever running drive was getting on my nerves ;-)

I use the CD...

Funny enough this hasn't hapened lately. Maybe it is because I finished Chapter 2... Great game.

Just a follow up, it seems the HD is the culprit.

The problem has appeared also in the Finder and when it freezes HD can click and disk usage goes to 0...
