I've been playing this game for almost a year without ANY incident.

Last night I downloaded some new maps and placed them in the /Main folder to use them. Now whenever I click on browse internet servers for a multiplayer game the game crashes.

I deleted those maps and still it crashes. I reinstalled Medal of Honor and it STILL crashes.

I tried deleting preferences. It did not help.

I called Aspyr and they claim they've been hearing similar reports in the last day or 2 and that GameSpy is having problems, which might explain why it freezes when I click on "browse internet servers" and nowhere else. It works fine for LAN games.

Has anyone else been using Medal of Honor (and/or Spearhead) via internet servers in the past couple of days?

It turns out the problem is a firewall issue on my college campus because other users had a similar issue.

The game didn't actually freeze, it was actually browsing internet server but for some reason they weren't appearing on the screen so it appeared that the game froze.
