i could run halo at full res now on my powerbook thanks to this update. but i would not suggest getting the 10.3.4 update, because it made halo unplayable totally. i hope they fix this soon.

From what I've noticed the issues with 10.3.4 and Halo seem to affect NVIDIA owners more. My performance with my Radeon cards seem unaffected (so far).

My only real problem with Halo 1.05 and OS 10.3.4 is that the NV Shaders are now broken, causing very sluggish performance where it once was very snappy. Using only the standard Vertex Shaders on my 12" PB still brings very acceptable performance.

I'm guessing that MacSoft will need to release a patch to correct the NV Shader option in Halo, not Apple.

i have a lot of freinds that have nvidias, and they are all having trouble. it must be an nvidia problem only.
