Not sure what to do, not so sure I want to wait ANOTHER month (previous ship date was 7/30)

it doesn't matter what version of powermac you order, the nvidia card is the holdup

god I wish they would not announce crap till it is at least CLOSE to being ready to ship

well I just found out that if you "change" your order, and not cancel and reorder then your shipping date stays, fortunatly for me they screwed up and "failed" to cancel my old order...so I canceled my new order and changed my old order lol...called them to do this

shipping is now 7/30 with nvidia chip

did that make sense?

It's no secret that the GeForce 6800 and 30" display won't be available until August. Steve Jobs said so during his speech.

As for waiting to announce them, let's say that Apple announced the new 20" and 23" displays, but didn't mention the 30" display or the GeForce 6800. Then someone orders a new PowerMac with an ATI 9800 and the new 23", and two weeks after they receive them, Apple announces the new 30" and the 6800. Don't you think a lot of people would be pissed off?
