I found this post on the WoW beta forum

I can't really get into too much detail, but I just ran WoW on one of the new Apple 30" Cinema Displays, using the 6800 Ultra.

Playing the game at 2560x1600 is so hot...I...uh, yeah. It's really hot.

Kudos to Blizzard, the game scaled right up to that rez and I still got 30-40fps with FarClip at halfway.

Did I mention that it was greater than 2K? Playing at larger than standard film rez? I think I have to go lay down, now.

I so want july 30th to show up!!

I am in love, but I don't have a G5 or 600 dollars for the card and 3200 for the monitor.

That's hardly impressive when considering the default rez for the 30" monitor was used.

Can't wait until retail when we'll see scores in 100FPS on that type of hardware.

As am I and I get ~25FPS in outdoor areas and the game looks great. Remember, this game isn't optimized and hardly even playable on the 12" PBs because of the current driver issue. It will be fixed which won't require the need to purchase new hardware for a game in beta.

I guess I just don't get it but it's quite humorous to watch.

I don't get what is so humorous. I must have missed a joke back there or something.
