Yep ! Even with a joystick, realy hard to keep in the air

A manual is missing. Does anybody knows if you can do something in the map view (assign waypoints...)

But it looks great

To take off you want to hit 'R' to close the window and start up the engines.

You then want to use '=' to add collective, around 80-90% you should lift off the ground.

As you found, 'B' will release the wheel brake so you can also 'taxi' this way by gently increasing collective and tilting the rotors in the direction you want to go (arrow keys or the joystick)

Once off the ground you can use Control-G to raise the landing gear.

Other useful keys off the top of my head are

'G' for autopilot (will go to the currently set waypoints in order)
'delete' key to cycle though weapons
Control-delete key to put away weapons
the Function keys to change views or view other units in the current battle
'K' to change HUD colors (I like white personally)
'Z'-'X' to control the tail rotor
'H' to enter auto-hover mode
Tab to send messages to your base, copilot, other network players
Control-E to eject if you are in the Russian chopper (it also has wind shield wipers)

Hope this helps

The EE Demo Guide UK.pdf has instructions on how to take off. Thierry posted the basics. I actually use Q and A (as mentioned in the EE Demo Guide UK.pdf) to increase and decrease teh collective.

Yeah, it's highly complex. And, have you ever heard the saying "RTFM" ?! That's what I did, and it really helped me learn how to fly this thing.

I have crashing down to a science. In fact, I'm so good, I got 2 other choppers to crash with me and there were no copter to copter collisions.
