Ages ago there was a cool car game called Driver. I had the demo on my PC and thought it was pretty fun. I know there is a mac version, however all the sites I get from Google have broken links to it on the macgames server. Does anyone know where I can find it? Would be fun to play on my iBook when I'm waiting for a plane.

cheers

You could try checking the P2P networks for it...

The mac version of driver is slow...

it also only runs on os 9..

and to top it off, it doesn't work with video cards made in the past 2-3 years.

I had bought a new graphics card for my old G4, a Radeon 8500, some time ago and I thought it must have had something wrong with it because the graphics in Driver and Carmageddon II were both "pixilated," so I decided to continue to use the older card.

It works fine on my Radeon 8500 today.

I have the file also, it's a 31.7 MB MacBinary archive - too big for my webspace.

Really?

I knew it would need to run in Classic, but I was hoping it would run on my iBook G4. I remember playing it on a friend's iMac 400.
