There is a serious lack of sports games for the Mac, but we are starting to see some with KTA Tennis (sp??) and KGA Golf (sp??). What I would like to see is for someone to bring back one of my FAVORITE games from my old Apple IIc (they made it for the mac too). Does anyone remember a game called Microleague Baseball? It was made by a company called MicroLeague Sports. It was a baseball game that was based on statistics. You were the manager and made the day to day decisions, like who would pitch, what kind of pitch, who would bat, hit and run, etc. The computer would base everything off of the players stats. I am seriously thinking about taking a programing class just to learn to make this, but if someone can do it, i would be SOOOO happy!

There is a boxing game just like that! You can even watch the fights... it's pretty cool.
I forget the exact name, but check VersionTracker for it. It's something pretty straightforward, like BoxingManager.

Yep, try looking for 'Frodo' or 'VICE' - both have OS X versions. I would link to them, but I don't know if it's allowed or not, so I'll leave that out for now.

Try here http://emulation.net/c64/
Emulators are not illegal, but downloading ROMs is. The only legal way to use an emulator is if you have a disc/card/etc reader for the original media and take a copy YOU own and make a digital back up of it. Even if you own the game, it is technically illegal to download a ROM for it. Take everything I've said with the usual grain of salt, though, as I'm Computer Science (not a lawyer).

Have you ever heard of Strat-O-Matic Baseball. It is for a PC but it is the same type of baseball game you described. Do a Google search and you will find it.

4D boxing was the best game EVER...well maybe not, but I remember it being quite entertaining.
