Constant crashing in Warcraft 3

Just picked up the Warcraft 3 battlechest last week. Looks great, but it seems unplayable. Crashes after about 5 minutes into any campaign. Has anyone else seen this?
I've got a 1.25DP G4, 1GB ram, 20" Cinema display, running 10.3.5...
Help!

It will only get slightly "better" once you venture into battle.net.

If you're implying it crashes alot on battle.net I've never had any problems and I play alot of customs on my 933mhz Quicksilver 2002.

No, it doesn't crash for me either. But I'm just saying, microing and winning 3v3s and above are impossible.
Also, still pissed about the fact of no Beta patch for us!

I still don't understand? How is your performance that bad you can't micro with a 1.25ghz DP. I have a single cpu 933mhz and I play with all settings maxed.

Deathman... haven't ventured out onto battlenet yet with wc3, so I'm not sure if it applies there as well. I'm just talking about the single player campaigns.
